Articles that talk about an executive’s use of analytics always grab my attention. Being in the consulting business, I have seen the good, the bad and the ugly. This articles talks about how execs should really use analytics. Oftentimes the results are twisted from what they really mean just to prove a (wrong) point. Bernard Wehbe, on of our founders, just finished an article on being a rock star in analytics that will soon be published by The Data Warehousing Institute. One key point is to be a polite, yet firm, questioner of results. By doing so, analytic results will be better understood and utilized at all levels and the truth will emerge.
